Today has been a relaxing and productive last day in the beautiful sub-Saharan sun. We bought awesome pants, among other things, and we look like zebras. In other words, shopping today was very successful. But we don't want to leave Uganda! We would love to come back with our families very soon.
Jeff is about to enjoy his last time reading outside for the next 3-5 months... he's going to soak up the sun. We all can't wait for the -14 degree weather in St. Paul. But we all want to try our best to get back to Uganda, whether to travel or work - to eat more fried plantains, matooke, pineapple, papaya, and rolex. Overall it's been a very productive trip - we've done so much in just two weeks. Thank you SO MUCH to our wonderful professors and of course to all of you, for supporting us both financially and personally. We literally wouldn't have been able to be here without you, and we are so so grateful. With that, we will bid you adieu until Sunday afternoon or whenever we see you next. Webalenyo! ("Thank you very much" in Luganda).
Best wishes,
PIGH
